Commerical Loan Servicing Administrator

 

Summary: Under direct supervision, performs a variety of loan servicing and related administrative duties relating primarily to Belmont’s commercial loan portfolio. Works with commercial loan officers and commercial customers on a daily basis. Provides back up support to consumer loan servicing as needed.

Position Requirements: College degree preferred.  At least five years relevant lending and banking experience with a detailed knowledge of commercial lending products.  PC proficient with excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills. Knowledge of Fiserv loan system a plus.

 

Specific Job Functions:

  • Sets up new loan files for commercial loans and inputs on servicing system. Follows up to ensure timely receipt of missing documentation or other information.
  • Provides timely and accurate responses to customer, colleague and attorney inquiries, including loan advances, principal reductions, payoffs and discharges.
  • Researches and resolves servicing issues.
  • Ensures timely payment of real estate taxes and related loan fees. Responds promptly to all requests relating to escrow. Ensures timely and accurate processing of all ongoing yearly escrow analyses, if applicable.
  • Processes re-amortization and modification agreements. Calculates new principal and interest payments. Prepares and provides to customers new disclosure statements and agreements for signature.
  • Maintains and updates rate and payment change records as required. Sends adjustment notices to customers and responds to any customer inquiries.
  • Process all loan payments. Prepare loan bills daily including corrected and replacements bills.
  • Keep records and processes in-coming wire transfers for loans serviced by other banks for the Bank.
  • Complete mortgage and loan verifications, as needed.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as may be required.

Banker In-store Branch

 

Summary: Performs a wide variety of sales and customer service functions such as establishing new accounts, products and services and identifying cross-sell opportunities based on client needs in an In-Store branch location.  Consistently ensures service excellence. Participates and supports the business development efforts of the Bank to include outbound calling and any other related initiatives. Assists in any branch related duties as requested, assigned and/or established by Branch Management.

 
Position Requirements:  High school diploma or higher. Minimum of two years of job related experience including banking, customer service and/or sales. Knowledge of bank products, policies and procedures.  Excellent sales skills and customer service skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized and detail oriented with computer and keyboard skills. Must be flexible with work schedule; will include some Saturdays and evenings.  Incumbents must be able to stand for extended periods of time along with walk the aisles within a supermarket environment.  Attendance at community events during the evening and weekends.

  • Adheres to all Bank policies, procedures and banking regulations
  • Accurately performs a variety of customer service functions; opens new accounts and cross-sells products and services
  • Performs to the expectation of the sales goals assigned
  • Corresponds with customers in-person, via telephone and in writing
  • Participates and supports the business development strategy of the Bank.
