Cash Management Sales Officer

Position Requirements:

College degree or equivalent job experience and a minimum 2 years’ experience selling business to business with a proven sale track record.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to self-manage within a team environment working toward common goals.  Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.  Current knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.


Specific Job Functions:

Responsible for selling cash management products to existing and new business customers with the objective to increase deposit growth and fee income.  This individual is considered the subject matter expert in all cash management products offered by the bank including, but not limited to online banking, analysis accounts, positive pay, lockbox, remote deposit capture, foreign exchange, business credit cards, sweeps and merchant services. 

  • Develop new business relationships.
  • Manage existing business customer cash management relationships and increase relationship value through cross-selling.
  • Call on businesses referred by relationship managers and branches and make joint sales calls when appropriate.
  • Initiate leads through outside sources.
  • Analyze customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products.
  • Prepare prospective customer proposals.
  • Refer customers to other departments to maximize opportunities.
  • Work with business client services with new client on-boarding or new service installation.                                  
  • Maintain high visibility within market by involvement in industry associations.
  • Interface with support departments to provide product delivery while adhering to existing bank policies.
  • Assist the Director of Business Banking with new cash management projects.
  • Provide employee training.
  • Track cash management sales and revenue
  • Present cash management sales performance reporting to senior management.
  • Take a leadership role in cash management sales strategies.
  • Participate in vendor management relations.
