Computer Systems Analyst

Position Requirements:
College degree or equivalent job experience with emphasis on computer information systems. Understanding of computer technology, network infrastructure, and a working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and VMWare virtual infrastructure. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability to interact with all levels of staff, senior management and vendors. Ability to multi-task and prioritize critical deliverables. Dependability and flexibility regarding work schedule. Frequent local travel to Bank locations is required. Reliable transportation is required. Some weekend and off hours on-call support is required.

Specific Job Functions:
• Assist the Director of IT Systems and Support in maintenance of network servers and infrastructure.
• Responsible for assisting in the resolution of network server problems to ensure minimal downtime and coordinating with outsourced IT Vendors.
• Provide first and second-level support to colleagues for all IT related concerns related to current Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems, outsourced Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, network printers, Spam and Virus protection, VOIP.
• Assist employees with all Microsoft and internal Bank applications.
• Create monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as defined by the CIO.
• Present reports and IT information to senior management on a regular basis.
• Review daily logs, i.e. McAfee Virus alerts, data vaulting reports software changes and potential application issues and proactively work with outsourced providers to resolve problems.
• Responsible for validation of periodic regulatory mandated system data backup and restoration jobs.
• Responsible for setting user permission levels on the network and maintaining accounts.
• Implementation of new employee hardware and software including maintaining image software/library desktop setups.
• Document and improve PC build procedures.
• Perform and analyze reports based on periodic MBSA scans and external security scans of Bank’s internal Local Area Network.
• Propose and implement changes to existing policies, procedures and documentation to ensure operating efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain the Bank’s web based hardware and software inventory system.
• Assist and maintain reports based on operational metrics.
• Assist in fulfillment of requests from the Information Security Officer.
• Assist VP/Director of IT Systems and Support with management of third party first tier support and systems administration.
• Administer and maintain virtual environment, VMWare.
• Superior troubleshooting capabilities with hardware and software.
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure and Cisco routers.
• Provide evening and weekend support as needed during branch business hours.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as may be required.
