Belmont Savings Bank Announces Free Childrenâ€™s Concert
BELMONT - Belmont Savings Bank today announced that it will be hosting a free children’s concert featuring Karen K & the Jitterbugs on Saturday, September 12 at Newton City Hall (100 Commonwealth Avenue). The event will run from 4-5pm and is ideal for kids ages 2-7 and their parents.
Karen K & the Jitterbugs have been delighting audiences up and down the east coast with their crowd-engaging, theatrical show. Karen takes audience members, young and old, on a musical adventure exploring themes of kindness,
In addition, parents can enter their kids to be honorary Jitterbugs by uploading a photo of them at the concert to Instagram with the hashtag #belmontsavingsbug. The Instagram post with the most likes will win free Karen K and the Jitterbugs CD and a $25 iTunes gift card.
The post with the most “Likes” by 10am on Monday, September 14th will be the winner. To participate in the bank’s Instagram contest, post settings must be public, and participants must be 18 years or older to enter.
Belmont Savings employees will also be on hand offering parents the chance to win an additional $100 iTunes gift card.
The concert continues the bank’s ongoing effort of giving back to the Newton community. Children under the age of 2 are also welcome.
