BELMONT - Belmont Savings Bank announced today that Elizabeth Osborne has been named Senior Vice President Chief Information Officer, where she will direct the Bank's information technology initiatives. Her duties include overseeing the Bank’s information technology activities, vendor management, strategic project implementation and data analytics.

“Elizabeth brings a strong track record of implementing great ideas and delivering results,” said Bob Mahoney, President and CEO of Belmont Savings. “As we continue growing our business in the Greater Boston region, she will provide important leadership for our IT team.”

As the Bank’s Chief Information Officer, Osborne is responsible for managing the Bank's technology resources and support facilities, including the Bank's mainframe computer system and all related software programs. In this role, Osborne will oversee the Bank’s daily operations, and ensure that its information technology activities are secure. Additionally, Osborne will continue to manage Belmont Savings’ strategic projects, and act as a liaison to its vendors. She will report directly to the Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Hal Tovin

“I am thrilled about the opportunity to further contribute to the Bank,” said Osborne. “Belmont Savings is an exceptional workplace, and it will be a privilege to help it expand as CIO.”

Joining Belmont Savings in 2012 as a Vice President Director of Strategic Projects, Osborne previously led a bank-wide team to successfully open two new in-store branches, and manage the renegotiation of consumer and business online banking contracts. Earlier, Osborne spent several years at State Street Corporation, where she led medium to large scale regulatory projects.

A Northeastern University graduate, Osborne received a Bachelor of Science in Leadership in 2007. She graduated with a MBA from Endicott College in 2011. She currently resides in Dedham with her husband.
